The keys to making youtube really push a video out to many viewers are the following:

does this video bring viewers from offline and log into youtube to start watching a video. So if we have external links to youtube, and we click and watch, that is us bringing many people from away from youtube, towards youtube, this is rewarded with ranking
how much of the video does the viewer watch in terms of %. So if you can let the video play through from start until the end, even in the background, that alters the statistics heavily and helps alot
Comments and likes are great of course, drop anything on there
Please paste this link into into pua chat groups and say its a great video - this creates more ‘session starts’ from this youtube video
